Stephanie Dickerson- is the founder, owner and operator of Anahata in Homer, Alaska where she practices Ayurveda, Massage, and teaches yoga.  Stephanie grew up learning about Ayurveda and Yoga from her Dad, Richard Haynes who has an Ayurvedic Center in Portland, OR.

She began studying yoga seriously in college, beginning with Iyengar and Ashtanga, soon finding Anusara Yoga and a wonderful personal teacher in Sarahjoy Marsh. Countless hours of personal study and practice, workshops with the likes of Douglas Keller, John Friend, Chris Coniaris, Desiree Rumbaugh, Denise Benitez and more provided an in-depth understanding of Anusara Yoga and beyond.  She has been deeply inspired by Sarahjoy’s ability to transcend the limitations of teaching a certain style, and incorporate the psychology of yoga into all of her teaching.  Stephanie is also very grateful to Todd Williamson for his teaching, in particular his introduction of the more subtle practices of Laya and Yin Yoga. She has also studied with many other teachers including, Dr. Mary Jo Cravatta, and Dr. John Douillard.

“I am profoundly grateful for the knowledge of Ayurveda and Yoga, which has kept me knowing that health, happiness and love are not only possible, but actually my birthright.  It is my greatest honor and joy to share this wisdom.”

Stephanie teaches Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-10:45 am and Wednesday 5:30-7 pm
